FLIES - Horse Flies & Bots
As the peak
of flies weather approaches I apply the Butox SWISH to my 6 Cobs and a Shetland- a fly
repelent for cattle which ACTUALLY WORKS! Not licensed for horses, so
no comeback, but I checked with my vet before using it summer 2009, and
then I tried it on 8 Cobs & ponies here and friend Valerie used it
on her 8 Arabs, no problems just happier less fly bothered equidae
(nags) Forty odd quid for the smallest amount, but that will treat 20
horses or so, for 6-8 weeks so excellent value!As a result at the end of the summer not a single bot egg has been laid and very few horse flies were seen..............much better for all.
