About me!
Welsh Cob Shop is based in the Heart of Cob Country. With the belief that customers' needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of business is from repeat customers and referrals.
It is the home of the Tor-y-Mynydd Stud of Welsh Cobs, which re-located back to Wales from Cornwall in 1999.
Since the sad passing of Derwen Supreme in 2003 a handfull of Cobs remain here in retirement. They are;
Penllwyn Catherine, 29 yrs.by Tynybryn Magic/Teilo Brenhines by Cathedine Brenin.A great winner and producer of many successful Cobs.
Cascob Black Sally, 28 yrs.
By Nebo Dafydd/ Cascob Favorite. She broke her fore leg as a yearling but has still won in the Showring! Sweet, kind broodmare.

Furze Farm Legend, 21 yrs. A gift three years ago! by Supreme with Gwenfo Apollo on his dam's side, a sweet, sensitive boy! (Came with 'Hal' his Shetland best mate!)
Tor-y-Mynydd Sillhouette, 17 yrs came home in 2005 as an insurance write off! Sweet and kind and easy to have around. Kiss Me Kate's full sister.
Tynybryn Sara, 7 yrs.By Tynybryn Magic again, out of Tynybryn Briallen by Nebo Daniel, bought from the Cob Sales in 2004 to show and to ride, she is a bit pushy! and sadly a Sweet Itch sufferer, so has'nt been shown much, but now the Sweet Itch is under control (READ) hopefully she will do a few shows as and when the mood takes us! She is a confident and reliable riding Cob for me.
My new girl Brynmeillion Georgie Ann, a dark bay, Section C filly foal, by Fronarth Ginola out of Bynmeillion Georgie Girl by Joyton Maybe Black. Sweet and easy, lovely head and conformation, to have fun showing, smaller than a Section D so therefore easier!(?) and to ride as I'll be quite old when she is mature and she'll be closer to the ground!! Currently being 'nannied' by Katie (Penllwyn Catherine)
